Ross Faithfull (Rossco) has been working as a bush regenerator since 2004, after completing the Conservation and Land Management Certificate in Bush Regeneration(Natural Area Restoration) in December 2003.
He has worked under the guidance of some of the most experienced bush regenerators on the Far North Coast of NSW, in all kinds of ecosystems and vegetation types, including many Big Scrub Rainforest remnants, National Parks, and the World Heritage Iluka nature Reserve.
Rossco has been involved with numerous tree plantings, including some large scale revegetation projects to restore creekbanks and degraded areas on private and public land.
Since 2007 he has worked as an independent contractor for private landowners, local companies, communities and Landcare groups, on sites from the coast to the mountains and along creeks and rivers. He has also worked to implement Environment Management Plans for Broken Head Quarry, Agcorp Constructions,Tricend Engineering, and recently Cornell Holdings, as well as several local Community Title projects.
Starting in 2008 Rossco began working as a contractor for Byron Shire Council on various sites throughout the shire. He has been a prinpal contractor supervising small and large teams working on shire-wide projects, such as Caring for Country and Bush Futures, restoring degraded bushland in Urban areas. From 2009 he has also been a contractor for Gold Coast City Council and North Coast Holiday Parks and is working on numerous ongoing bush regeneration projects.
Rossco has used his wealth of experience and dedication to form East Coast Bush Regeneration Pty Ltd, with the aim of providing high quality service in Ecological Restoration.
Suryo Cunningham , Nursery Worker, Tree Planter Suryo loves working around plants.
He has been involved with bush regeneration since leaving school in 1998, obtaining Certificate 3 in Conservation and Land Management in 2001.
He has planted many trees all over the Far North Coast of NSW and has spent the last five years working at Firewheel Nursery, where he became manager.
His passion for restoring natural areas is welcome on any project.
Denis Wood has been restoring natural areas and planting trees for the past sixteen years.
More recently he has been working with local bush regeneration contractors around Byron Bay on various sites and properties, including large scale restoration projects, where his knowledge, experience and diligence are a welcomed by anyone he is involved with.
He has a deep seated commitment to the environment and its repair.
Phil Murray has been growing native plants since he was a teenager, and later worked at Firewheel Nursery for many years.
He also worked as a seed collector for the nursery, as well as a tree planter and bush regenerator in the local area for many years, achieving Certificate 3 in CALM in 2008.
He has an excellent knowledge of native plants and how to propogate and grow them.
He has worked in many different ecosystems on a wide variety of sites and projects, and he brings his vast knowledge and experience with him wherever it is needed to help improve the environment.
George Roberts has recently made a smooth transition from the agricultural industry in Tasmania to the environmental industry in Far North Coast of NSW.
He has been working in the Northern River for the past 4 years attaining certificate 3 in conservation and land management in 2010. He has worked under the guidance of some of the most experienced regenerators in the Northern Rivers, on a range of sites from the coast to the mountains, for local councils, land care groups, private land owners, cabinet timber plantations and developers.
Working as a independent contractor in 2010, George has been running small teams on private properties, conducting bush regeneration and tree plantings.
He has also written several property management plans and recently assisted his clients in attaining grants for ecological restoration and revegetation.
His commitment and enthusiasm is welcomed on any project.
